Crit feedback from 2nd May

The crit yesterday was really helpful. Getting feedback on my style of animating and the shots I had experimented with in the past week has really focused me for the next two weeks.

Some of rooms for improvement included:

- Looking more into the soundtrack. How can I incorporate an 8 minute song into an animation between 1 and 2 minutes without it seeming irrelevant and cut short.

- Start putting animation shots together to test out transitions between different experiments.

- Collect sound and work with visual and sound together.

- More shadow work and consideration to the transformation. This should be emphasised the most throughout the narrative.

The criticism was directed towards post-production. I definitely will start on post production on the coming week. I'd like to have near to a final draft for the group seminars in week 10 of the project to gain the most beneficial feedback for the last push. It was also suggested that I try and get feedback from my target audience, in particular, performance arts enthusiasts. Seeing as I had previously spoken to Ellie Nixon, BA (Hons) Acting Lecturer at The Arts University at Bournemouth about mask and performance. It would be helpful to speak to her after further development in my project. I'm hoping also to get some actors' feedback as well and generally start building a working relationship with the acting department as I wish to do more performance illustration in the near future.
